This is my first generative artwork

let naz = random;

Although this project may look very simple, it holds great value for me. At a time when I decided to embrace the randomness of life, I took my first university course on Generative Art. This piece is the first code and generative artwork I ever made. In the code, geometric shapes—their positions, sizes, and colors—are randomly generated. Yet if you look closely, you can still see the order and hierarchy within.

This generative artwork was chosen as the design language for Ozyegin University Faculty of Architecture (My faculty) 10th-anniversary celebrations. Below you can see a few of the works produced at that time. If you’d like to try the code yourself, click the button.
