WHO IS NAZ?

Naz is a multidisciplinary artist and experience designer based in Barcelona where she is studying Master in Science Program Digital Arts and Creative Technologies. She loves working in data art, generative art, conceptual art, experimental art.

Who am I…

I’m Naz — a multidisciplinary designer turned digital artist, currently based in Barcelona. I grew up in sunny Antalya on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, studied Industrial Design specialized in Service Design with a Psychology minor at Özyeğin University, Istanbul. I am working as an experience designer staring from my school years in a lot of successful companies in Turkey and globally. That mix of design, people, and problem-solving is still in my toolkit — I just use it more playfully now.

After realization of I’m not able to stop this artist in me I decided to embrace, so these days I’m doing an MSc in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies in Barcelona. I love exploring ideas, tinkering with tools, and letting the concept lead the aesthetics. I like to use art as a tool for activism, explore concepts with art, digging for personal stories. When I’m not making things, you’ll probably find me traveling, doing DIY projects, brewing a slow cup of coffee or with my family and friends.
